20. At one time I had over 22 remixes of GOF ...
now I am down to about 10 or so. My friends who listen to my iPod go " why the hell do you have so many versions of the same song ?" My favorite mix is the "Girls On Film (Blue Silver Edit)" - I am a true Duranie :)

I think this is still their best album to date :



I love "Friends of Mine" and "Sound of Thunder". The basslines.

The bassline from "Rio" is really what made me a fan. And then the bassline from "Planet Earth" - go here http://youtube.com/watch?v=wNPNYGzvLSg - its a live performance of Planet Earth from 1982. Listen to that bass.

A lot of people don't like that song, but that bass line actually makes me weak in the knees.

but damn I had the biggest crush ever on John Taylor.

I just feel good after hearing them. I want to dance around the house every time I hear one of their songs.

I have over 300 something Duran Duran songs in my Itunes playlist. I thought I was the only one out there on this board who still had love for them. Now that they have played Live Earth , I don't know what to do for the rest of the day. Forget the naysayers , I love Duran Duran. I still get hyped about "The Reflex". Ok let me stop, I can on and on about DD. The only reason why I am saving all of my upcoming vacation days is for their tour.

23. They are releasing a new album by the end of the year ...
its going to be called "Red Carpet Massacre" and they better tour. I will be there (in case its the last you never know).

And will find some white capezio jazz shoes.

I was only a baby when they came out but I always liked them ... and I think John Taylor was the only guy who still looked cute while wearing a mullet.

I wish Bravo would have shown more of the concert, though. Simon still looks HOT and so does John. Wow, it's like they never aged.
I like the new guitarist, but I kinda miss Andy Taylor. I saw him and John on tour with Power Station back in the day and he rocked the house!!!

A fun band, Anothony Kiedis is hot, but not a great singer. Still, I'm shakin' it. :D
