Just saw this, since my internet is in and out since we moved after the fire and trying to get things going again...

Thanks to all y'all! Life has been real challenging since 1:30 am Fri morning. Please, wherever you live...make a fire plan. Do it. A fire is fast and furious.

I have been through hurricanes. I will take 10 of them to a fire any day.

Any of you reading this who live upstairs. MAKE A PLAN. Even if you live downstairs...think about it. If a fire started in the kitchen or in the living room or wherever, WHAT will you do? Think about an alternate route out.

The fire we dealt with was directly under our stairs...we had to descend through that smoke and I had to go back up through it to get my cat.

OMG. I am still so scared. But we are all OK.

THanks to all you loungers. I truly do feel the vibes.
