teaching our kids respect when they could just read the bible, or at least hold one in each hand and they would be more respectful.

I saw that in a movie somewhere.

Fundies want the bible BACK in school? I don't remember bibles in school. Maybe I just didn't pay attention.

I do remember when they added "under god," to the pledge of allegiance. Screwd us up for months, stumbling over that one.
