Well, 3 years and my fourth reorganization....

I dont even know who my boss is anymore... The entire senior admin needs to be gotten rid of.. and start all over. The culture of this place is sick.

Anyone need a Social Worker?

2. I'm going through it now myself.

My agency will cease to exist soon. My department has been moved to a new agency. My boss is the same (for now), his boss is the same (for now) but HER boss is new. I have e-mail accounts from my old and new agencies both dumping into the same Outlook mail box. It's gettin confusing around here. We get mail at the old address, too. It'll all work out somehow though.

Anyone need a policy analyst? I'm housetrained.

But, consolidation is all about saving money...I'm guessing middle management might get the slice first, though.

City of Houston, eh? Hrm...I'd have to consider that, given all the nasty things I've said about Houston over the years. :D I might have to check out the city's web site.

6. We are under state order to reduce the staff/management ratio.

New state law or something. :eyes:

So, I'm sure some of our managers will be sent packing. Sucks - I kinda like them as people. They have families, too. :-(
