Seven, count 'em SEVEN hours in the office today. Oh, yes.
Edited on Sat Jul-14-07 10:08 PM by Redstone
And, may I add, for the third day in a row, with only a bearable amount of physical pain from working so long, and those of you who know me will know that's a significant thing and won't mind me celebrating a bit.

The long-awaited and oft-delayed Breakthrough Project has hit the critical-mass stage where all the background grunt work is complete and the Web pages of the finished product (more than 100 of them) are pouring out in a torrent. And with only ONE technical glitch, and that easily solveable. Yes, indeed.

Another, and final, good day at work tomorrow and the project rolls out, cue the fanfare please. And then on Monday, I get to issue the $37K worth of billing for this implementation of my invention.

I'm a damn happy camper right now, though tired and ready to hit the rack. But it's a GOOD tired, it is.

My invention, my baby, really works, after three years of tinkering and refinement. I've had a small-scale implementation of it running for about a year, but this implementation proves that it really does what it's supposed to, and that it's a marketable product. I could NOT be more satisfied.

Thank you all for allowing me to share my excitement.

2. It is, indeed. I told Mrs R to stop worrying; I'd either die from being sick or get better,
and the outcome would not be influenced by going to a doctor.

I bet right this time. And it's damn good to have returned to The Land Of The living.

I'm back. Be warned, rightwingers and sign spammers.

7. Send me a PM, and I'll give you a link to the demo. It might not seem like
magic to you, since you're tech-savvy, but it's something that nobody else has thought up.

An application of CSS/JavaScript tricks that I'm astonished nobody else has figured out.

And because of that, you can understand that there's NO way I'm going to put a link on such a public place as DU. My intellectulal-property attorney would throw a fit if I did that.

10. Been a while since we've talked. How's the Big Boy doing? I sure do hope that
you didn't lose him in the interim, and my question opened any new psychological wounds for you.

12. It has been a while.
My dear sweet Zen crossed the Bridge.

He's gone, and my suffering is what it is.

14. My condolences for your pooch, and you know that I can see him playing
on the other end of the Rainbow Bridge.

He's happy playing there, and his happiness will be complete when you arrive there to throw the ball for him, and when he can hear you tell him what a good boy he is.

God speed that good dog.

The tears don't make it easier, but I know.

I do believe that he's happy. It's all I have.

13. I, if you remember, TOLD you I'd survive that last episode, didn't I?
If you don't go to a doctor, you either die from what you have, or you recover. Either way, you save big bucks in the process.

18. Now just a darn minute, my dear Redstone...
We've had this conversation before...

Doctors can and DO save lives...

Need I remind you that we (you and I) have a very dear mutual friend whose life was saved by doctors?

IF they find something wrong, they want to fix it....
