Holy Shit! I Just Realized, Its My Wife's Birthday
She's still in bed, hasn't got up yet.

I forgot again, but today's the day. She turned 60.

Not even enough stuff in the house to make her a nice breakfast.

Shit!

1. Quick! to the local fruit stand!
buy some flowers, and fresh melons, strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, whatever. Cut up nicely and arrange on a plate with whipped cream or yogurt.

4. If you have a grocery store within a mile of your house
you better go now. Don't forget to pick up some flowers. And make a reservation at a nice restaurant for tonight.

Good luck.

8. Well, maybe the best thing to do is to be honest with her about forgetting.
Then spend the rest of the day making it up to her. If you work, call out. Take her to lunch or dinner. Make the whole day about her, whatever she wants. I can't speak for every woman, but I know I'd appreciate the honesty and the effort to make up for the mistake. I'd forgive you by the end of the day.
