woohoo, i may have a job!

short term job, working on a mural, but might lead to more work on more murals. it will be a brutal few weeks, but i can't wait!!!
not sure how many other people they are looking at, but they need 4 people. the pay was described as- trying to pay artists a decent wage so that they can keep being artists.

3. actually,

they try to pay enough to make up for not having a health plan. but there is a pretty good artists organization in town that has a group plan. i don't need it, tho. hubby has a good one.
the funny thing is that i wasn't even looking for this. it just popped up.

5. strangely-

the neighborhood freepers blog. he was ranting about another mural project not hiring neighborhood people. he found out that there was another one being planned, and posted the info. just happened that the guy who is doing the hiring thinks that having a sound bite of mike malloy praising your political buttons is a great recommendation.
