Is it OK to scream at certain movies?
Like when I saw the giant man eating slugs in King Kong, I couldn't help erupting. My left arm was black and blue from my daughter punching me to shut up. She won't go with me any more because I tend to yelp at the scary parts.

1. Depends on the volume. Uttering a 'oh lord' or something isn't so bad...
but shrieking loudly...not so cool. :P

2. Sure! I screamed at "Father of the Bride".
NO!! No flashbacks! No! *#$&#)&$)@$!!!!! Luckily we were merely renting so I could let loose. (Where's that thread for having seen a film because someone of otherwise good taste recommended it?)

Steve Martin made up for that with "Shopgirl".

3. Yeah, that's great.
I enjoy it when the audience interacts. Makes it more enjoyable.

Just don't do it too much. I saw a horror movie awhile back on opening night while it was filled with crowded teenagers, jumping at every thing that moved. It really ruined the whole experience.

4. Would that be things moving on the screen or in the theater?
You did say teenagers, now.
