but some people go way off the hook in their misanthropy.

like advocating he'd be a suitable candidate for prison rape because of these allegations.

just making a parody of other extreme positions.

People seem to forget that an indictment isn't a conviction.

Still, I hate the idea of anyone treating an animal like that and, if he had any knowledge of it at all and didn't do anything to stop it...

Time will tell.

I wish they'd build clear glass boxes in the middle of towns and put naked people in there for months at a time. The glass would be thick and of course they'd have food dropped in on them! And heat if it's freezing out.
I think a lot more crimes should be punished this way.

Vick just makes me sick, it scares me how many people think this kind of stuff's okay.

8. it scares me that so many purported animal lovers have such

hatred, spleen, viciousness, and ill will toward other human beings.

i can never say anything that condones intentional cruelty to anything or anyone, but some of the very extreme positions these stories evoke sound like so much irrational misanthropy that i have to wonder if these people are for real of if they are trolls trying to make a parody of animal rights to further alienate that position from the mainstream.

i will never know.

that in ways I am misanthropic but I will not apologize for it and I will not be changed now, I've seen too much of what we're doing to nature and to our own future. I do not hate individuals though, I want good people to be happy. I smile to everyone and love to help them where I can, but I can never go as far as putting humans above the rest of the animals. (And I think some could be changed for the better with public PAINLESS humiliation :) )

I'm sorry if my feelings about this make people mad, I thought I might regret again admitting how I feel about animal cruelty. That kind of cruelty against ANY SOUL means something sick about whoever's doing it. My mind will not be changed about this.
