Actually I think free will misses the point.

We are merely biological processes. Everything we do is caused by some interaction with matter and energy - and in the end that is all we are changing. At this base level, free will is non-existant - its just subject to the quantum randomness. And this is why life itself is so improbable and yet doing very well here.

God? I don't see any God in this any more than I see the Buddha.
