Atkins people! CRACKERS!!!
...as long as you like cheese.

Grate parmesan cheese (must be fresh-grated). Sprinkle some in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat and wait 'till the bottom gets hard (not brown, just hard). Flip the thing and repeat. Let it completely cool.

The result? Crunchy parmesan "crackers". Crunchy, and they're even good with salsa.

1. I tried to make a cheese sandwich without bread one time
I ended up tossing the pan out afterwords and my neighbors complained for weeks from the smell.

The crackers sound good and you said to use nonstick right? Is that the kind of a pan that is black on the inside?

3. Yes, nonstick...
I have All-Clad pans...recently teflon has come under fire, so I don't know about just using just ANY non-stick, but yes. They don't stick.

works better than teflon and is not poison.

9. I took a quick look around, & of course I can't find it.
Use your "star power" & search for "TV Dinner." How many can there be?

12. Found it. Not me, but funny.
Actually, I'm a pretty good cook...

This also makes a pretty good cracker (especially if you're jonesing for a crunchy snack).

13. I still trying to figure out how to boil an egg
How do you get an egg back into the shell after you boil it? TV Dinners, canned food it alright with me. Tonight I am having some Cheeto's with and some pop for dinner. The cheese is on the Atkins diet.

2. Yum.
That sounds great. I'll hit the store for parmesan in the AM.

Do you use any olive oil, or just the cheese in the skillet?

5. Just the cheese, it has enough oil in it.
It took me 2 or 3 to get the "doneness" right, but once they cool, they're great. Supposedly, you can do the same with romano cheese...I suppose any hard cheese would work.

Be warned, block parmesan is NOT inexpensive...
