1. Can you imagine the highs and lows at NASA?
One minute you're a rock star, next, you lost your gazllion-dollar machine. Yikes.

I hope they can wake Spirit up, too.

2. First the Beagle, then this???? FSCK!
Are the Martians restless or something? They seemed to be so peaceful in '97.

3. Aliens are there now playing with it like a kids RC model.
and are sending back dummy data streams and intercepting our commands to it. If they can travel here they can travel there, yes/no!?

4. Sunday morning
Spirit's sister Opportunity lands. I hope that goes well. A NASA guy on Letterman last night said Spirit still has a heartbeat. I hope she wakes up also.

5. NASA lost my support when they wouldnt check wing damage
on the last shuttle. As long as it is controlled by politicians and not scientist and engineers, it will continue to fail.

Apparently the Rover is no longer sending gobbledygook but is saying it has a problem. Stay tuned.

12. And I love you too.
Oops, sorry, I thought you said "XNASA".

Though, I'd like to add, that I never worked with a finer group of people than I did during my stint with NASA. The hardest part about leaving was knowing that I'd probably never again work alongside such a talented bunch.

I'm pulling for them as well. And if they need a second volunteer to go to Mars, I'm with ya.
