Oh, I LOVE that sound.
The kids are still upstairs reading (they are going through a stack of books we picked up at the library yesterday), and I just heard my son say to my daughter, "What chapter are you on?"

*happy sigh*

That's the sound of children enjoying themselves without overflowing the sink, gluing their fingers together, or making that mysterious THUNK noise that can never quite be explained.

1. NO! Children reading is an abomination!
They will be of the devil!

5. I love when they enjoy reading...
One of my favorite memories is my then 2-year old pretending to read to the dog I used to have. She'd sit next to him and point to the words and make noises... pretty much what I did with her. :)
