NO SPOILERS!! How far have you gotten in DEATHLY HALLOWS so far?
ginbarn and I are a little more than halfway through. All I can say is - wow. This is harsh.

...after beginning Saturday morning. Some other activities interrupted (including the new Potter movie n Sunday), and I was in no particular hurry to finish. I wanted to savor it.

40. I'm sad to hear you don't know that - it's from Asimov's "Foundation" series
A required series for any sci-fi buff.

You should read them, starting with the robot books, then the Empire books, then the Foundation books.

Fantastic stuff.

...having read most of the spoiler threads around here. :)

I haven't read any of the books, or seen any of the films, so I'm thoroughly confused by reading the spoiler threads, but slightly intrigued to find this book has death and cruelty and mayhem in it. I thought they were children's books, even though I know several adults who really liked them.


Of course, I've read the Grimm fairy tales too, so it shouldn't surprise me that children's stories have mayhem and carnage. :D
