Goddamned squirrels!111!!!!11
Ate the only two close to ripe tomatoes in my planters on the front porch. I found the evidence in the front yard.

Does anyone know how to keep the little bastards off of my 'maters?

1. They cleaned us out too. Its now open season, an advantage of living in the country.
A little .410 persuasion, assuming I get a second bloom set.

3. I would not recommend 10 year old labradors. Sleep is priority 1.

4. if the culprit was a ground hog, I would
My collie/German shepherd mix will tear the shit out of a ground hog...he's already killed two this year.

But squirrels? He lets them eat his food on the back deck. :eyes:

8. I made a platform feeder on my windowsill
Only the chipping sparrows were brave enough to eat there.

Until I saw a treerat sitting on my windowsill cleaning me out :D

:hi:

7. Sprinkle Sevin dust on the plants and tomatoes
and be sure to wash your crop thoroughly after you harvest your tomatoes. The dust will kill any bugs you may have and it will make the tomatoes less attractive to the little darlings.
