Her Comedy Central Presents special from 2003 or '04 is on Comedy Central On Demand right now, until I think sometime in August. I watched it a few weeks ago, having never seen her before (although I'd heard of her*), not really knowing what to expect, and I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe.
I think she also has something to do with The Daily Show although I'm not sure what. I usually don't pay attention to the credits but happened to look at the screen right when her name popped up, but it went away before I could see what she does on the show.
*An online friend of mine who is a fan of Janeane Garofalo, as am I, sent me a bunch of burned DVDs of Janeane's stand-up performances, short films, and other specials, one of which was a 1999 Lifetime special titled "25 Years of Women in Comedy" or something like that. However, the actual performances were cut out and only Janeane, hosting, was shown. I'd have liked to see them. Anyway, Janeane introduced Lizz ("with two Zs") Winstead during the show, so that's where I first heard of her.
