Isn't ThomCat the greatest DUer?

Just spent a wonderful day with ThomCat. He came to our hotel in NYC and took us to all the places we had not seen or would not have known about. Staten Island ferry was fun. He showed us how the subway system works. Told us so much history. Christopher Street, Sex shops, Washington Square, Head shops, Stonewall, Head shops, the BEST Dim Sum ever, Sex shops......well you get the picture :evilgrin: . We had a glorious day. We snacked at Sabarro before the show, mmmmmmm, one of Thom's favorites. Then he took us to the Olive Garden for dinner after the show, we had heard that it was highly recommended by DUers in NYC! Mmmmmmm again! Here is a picture of Thom and my husband in front of a restaurant that we will go to again and again when we visit the city :) and we will visit again. BTW, the theater is wonderful. I can't wait for my next trip.

I'd even meet him at OG.

I got to spend the entire day with him! We had us some fun. He was on my short list too. He still is, I can't wait until the next time. He is every bit the great guy we all think he is here.

Haven't been in many years and I love it there.

That's cool. Yeah, the head shops are pretty cool too. I don't :smoke: anymore so I didn't go into any of them when I was done there a few weeks ago.

and we found a few more in the paper. I LOVED those neighborhoods! I wanna go back! More polite? Boooooooo. :) By now you should know that we were totally comfortable there. It was fun. We can do tours and then go back to the village. BTW, neither of my "oh so sophisticated sons" knew what SoHo came from! HaHa, thanks. They think they are sooo cool!

I love having an excuse to do touristy stuff. And the company was great!

:hug: It was so much more fun being with you. The theater and museums were great but it was so good to spend the day with you. Thanks so much. My husband was a little unsure being that you were my DU friend but he was really happy we did it and wants to make sure we contact you the next time we are going to be there. There you go, he is not easy with people he is unfamiliar with so I would say that he would add a big YES to my poll.

The Stonewall pictures came out great but the one of you and me is too blurry to make out :(.

But he may be the luckiest.

We have probably only spoken briefly for a total of about 5 times, but he is always friendly and caring. I think he's a great guy, and I have a lot of respect for him. I always read his posts, and find him to be a nice genuine man.
