10. Good! How about a stick of gum?
That can be good... or NOT. Try it if you can.

2. If you're hungry, you probably shouldn't ignore it. Try eating a small
portion of something, enough to satisfy your hunger, but not something that will leave you feeling too full.

7. Can't eat... going under anesthesia tomorrow.
I hope I don't dream about food. Yikes!

Do ANYTHING but eat.
Take a short walk.
(Use reflective gear, of course.)
Read a book.
Clean one closet, or part of a closet.
Look for missing or misplaced items.
Listen to music or watch TV without the snack.
Call someone on the telephone, but only someone who YOU KNOW stays up late!
(Calls to Hawaii are OK.)
Play with your dog or cat.
Or your spouse or significant other (Board games, card games, or other stuff, unless it makes you hungry!)
Alone tonight? There's always SOLITAIRE, and all those other games that come with your operating system.
Stay on the DU until bedtime and talk to the people who haven't fallen asleep.

That's all I can think of.

Good night and good luck.

11. Thanks so much. Oh, there's one book you might search for:
Edited on Sun Jul-29-07 11:54 PM by Radio_Lady
101 Ways to Stop Eating After Dinner

http://www.amazon.com/Ways-Stop-Eating-After-Dinner/dp/0425180956

On edit:

Looks like you can only see the table of contents, not the excerpt. I thought you might be able to get to some of the "meat" (sorry...) tonight. If you're an Amazon.com member, perhaps you still can.

Good night and good luck.

Sincerely,

Radio Lady in Oregon
