yippee.... I FINALLY got in touch with a very dear, very old friend

he is doing great and I can't wait to see him soon....he was my best friend till heroin turned him ugly....sober these days and living not far from me.....

He was also into heroin. Poor guy sounds like a mess. He's a true artist when it comes to styling and coloring hair. But he hopped from salon to salon...sometimes getting fired as an excuse to do drugs, other times doing drugs and getting fired for it. Apparently this last time he went on a binge, he got mugged...beaten up badly. He's missing a bunch of teeth. He's got hepC. And he's going to have to live in a shelter for awhile until he can start his new job.

He gets hired in a wink, because he's that talented. I just keep hoping he'll stay away from the shit. I haven't had my hair cut since the last time I saw him...about 3 years ago. It's going to be odd having short hair again!
