DU lawyers will probably enjoy this
A party to a case moved for an oral hearing to be rescheduled, because the appellant's counsel was being forced by his wife to take a bike trip.

I especially like where it says "counsel assures this panel that Oral Argument would be more enjoyable than the aforementioned bike trip." :D



The motion was granted, too.

Damn! Oh well.

I saw a similar motion for continuance because the Saints were going to be in the playoffs and one of the lawyers was a huge fan ... it too was granted.
