I got the job - ask me anything!

Interviewed for a job in my current department 2 notches up in the food chain on Monday afternoon, found out Thursday I got it. It's not going to change my mind about escaping to Canada, but the extra $$$ will buy us a little more time.

So even though I can't stand where I work (most of my coworkers are cool but the company is evil), I guess some kind of celebration is in order. :woohoo:

I went into the interview with basically no stake in the game, since I figured if I didn't get it I'd have an excuse to bail. I was told I so aced the interview, I was pretty much inevitable. :toast:

The other cool thing is that because I got a new nifty title and a nifty raise to go with, I'll be in a much better negotiating stance with potential employers when I do make my move to the Great North. :hi: :toast:
