However, it has been years since we have had a heat advisory like this:

2. WOW...
that's a lot of heat. It's not as hot here today, but it will be again soon. The weather geeks are talking about this being the hottest summer ever. Most summers, highs in the 90's are usually a few days here and there. It's been a week here, a day of rain, and then more 90's.

7. What's really scary is that a lot people in the deep south don't have AC...
They either can't afford it or just never had it. That is so sad. Please check on the elderly and bring your pets into the cool with you (Not that I have to tell the animal loving DUers that, but it never hurts to remind. :evilgrin: ).
