A miniature hamburger. Derived from the tendency of White Castle miniature hamburgers to "slide" equally easily both into and out of the human digestive tract.

2. "Slyder" has been trademarked by White Castle.
It was trademarked in 1994, though....I suppose "slider" got away from them.

Because here in the Detroit area, they're kind of a tradition. We have a few smallish local chains around. Some of the local places' sliders (aka mini burgers with grilled onions) are really amazing. Sliders in general are a huge paradox to me. How can something that can mess with you so bad taste so damn good? ;-)
