Somber apocalyptic dream I had last night
:scared:

Astronomers discovered a giant asteroid -- bigger than Ceres, actually a planet-sized body -- heading straight for the Earth, due to collide 555 days from now. It was named Herod. No hope, no way any amount of H-bombs could dislodge the thing.

I could feel the ultimate, we-are-all-going-to-die despair. I felt sadness for my daughters (7 and 2) who would not have the chance to grow up. I thought of buying some strong sedative for us to take before the moment comes.

My wife said I was talking in English (!) like crazy while sleeping. She doesn't understand a word, alas.

I have vivid nightmares regularly about nuclear war.

5. I had a Nuclear nightmare once
But this was much worse. No one would accept making a movie out of it. Too depressing.

I get sunburns at the beach, Carnaval bores me to death, I hate staying up all night, I dance like a hippo with Parkinson's... and I hang out at DU. :silly:

10. Thought about that too, after I woke up.
There wouldn't be a big-boom-and-it's-all-over. Days before, tides would go crazy, oceans would go touring all over Earth, earthquakes would get worse and worse. Gravity is a bitch.

And in the dream, it was coming into the Southern hemisphere. Huh, as if it would make much of a difference.

12. Dreams
I've had revolution dreams and recently, a "Dawn of the Dead" dream in which, like "28 Days Later", I had a baseball bat as a weapon. As I hit zombies, I wondered where the hell my guns were because they were not where I store them in my apartment.

He will declare martial law and himself dictator, and then we will find out later that he made the whole thing up, but by that time it will be too late. I hope he wasn't watching CBS tonight.
