It's basically just a secret because I do have some sort of self-control and I'm pretty healthy. If I wanted to not be able to run very far and die of a heart attack at age 30, I'd eat at restaurants all the time and blow my paycheck on cooking utensils and exotic food to make at home.

My other passions aren't so secret, I've got a bad habit of talking excitedly about them whenever a conversations veers anywhere remotely close to them.

and local politics... for everywhere. and science. and dogs. and space travel. and the opposite sex.

any one of those, I could boar you to tears, but after you stopped crying for a couple hours you'd know all of the differences between local elections in the united states and local elections in mexico or something else as useless.

Right now, I'm reading 3 different books about WWII. I own close to 200 books about the Civil War. History is my passion. :hi:

17. wow.
The coolest thing I've got is an old canvas light backpack used by one of my great-uncles on D-Day. I don't remember what beach he was on, but you can still faintly make out "U.S. Marines" on the back of it.
