Elizabeth Taylor wants SUNSET BOULEVARD
I would SO LOVE to see this. I wish she could sing. I think it would be great for a diva such as Dame Elizabeth to make this her comeback (or should I say, her return?!)

Hollywood, CA (BANG) - Elizabeth Taylor wants to star in the new 'Sunset Boulevard' movie. The double Oscar-winning actress would love to take on the role of femme fatale Norma Desmond in the musical remake, which will be based on Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit stage adaptation.

Elizabeth said: "'Sunset Boulevard' is the kind of vehicle that could suit me now."

However, the 'Cleopatra' star admits she may struggle with the part because she isn't convinced about her singing ability.

She added: "I'm not sure about the singing."

2. I doubt Lloyd Weber is concerned
about singing ability. Madonna as "Evita" and Michael Crawford as the Phantom. Need I say more?

3. She's not sure about the "singing"???
How about the "standing up straight" and "speaking in complete sentences"?

I love Liz, but I don't think she's in any sort of physical condition to give an order at Starbucks, let alone headline a movie musical.

4. She'd be great. Tough to beat Gloria Swanson in the original, though.
"I'm ready for my close up now, Mr. DeMille."

One of the all-time greats.

6. Michael Jackson's up for the Norma part, too. Being pals, she'll probably step aside.

11. Matt Groenig made her do 20+ takes when she voice Maggie
on the Simpsons. Liz got so pissed she said "fuck you" and stomped off the set.
