Scenes from a college Philosophy class

Professor: So in this class, we'll be discussing epistemology, philosophy of mind, ethics, freedom of the will, the meaning of life, and philosophy of religion, including practical arguments for a belief in God.

Class is interrupted by a deep, disconnected voice from the overhead speakers

Can you hear me? Can you hear me down there?

Professor and students look collectively stunned, then burst into laughter

Professor: You know, of all the worst-case scenarios I dreamed up of things that could go wrong on the first day of class...God showing up in class was definitely not one of them!
