1. I have another take on it.
If I was a naturally well-endowed woman, I'd wonder how many people would think that they're fake. It's a little unfair, y'know?

3. I don't know; it would depend on context. If someone used the term "boobs" to describe my breasts,
however, whether insinuating or claiming they were artificially enhanced or not, well, yeah, I'd be offended. 'Cause that immature, degrading and vaguely sexist characterization of normal parts of my anatomy would be offensive to me.

6. Nahhh
I'd be like "Really?? You need to see an ophthalmologist for that sight issue you got, but thanks all the same!"

Mine aren't perky, and Dropkid made 'em much less perky (they're usually looking at the floor if they're not trussed up).

8. I'd like to think I wouldn't be offended.
They're just breasts. I don't know why Tyra Banks bothered to have her breasts imaged on TV just to prove they aren't fake. Do people really care?

10. I saw that post
On the other thread. What a maroon!

It is not widely known, but I happen to be one of the leading experts at identifying fake vs natural breasts. All I need is a high-res photo of the bare breasts and I can make a determination within minutes and certify them as real.

So, if you'll just PM the pic to me, I'll get right back to you and then you'll be able to go "IN YOUR FACE LOSER!!" once I certify them. ;)

14. my brother sent me a quiz once
that tested whether you could tell if they were fake or real. I got 19 out of 20 right. The key - generally the fake ones looked better - larger, perkier, and more symmetrical. Really someone saying that they are fake is another way of saying 'they look good'. Too good, in fact, to be true.

Whether it was complimentary or not. Unless they were someone I was very close to, in which case they'd know darn well my boobs aren't fake.

29. You have a point
However, some people choose to put their breasts out there (so to speak) and in that case I think it's only natural (pun intended) for others to make a remark about them.

The only person who would make such a comment to me would be a faint acquaintance or a stranger. In which case I would be offended at what I consider to be overly familiar comments. If you don't know me well, you don't need to be talking about my boobs in any way but generally complimentary (I like that neckline on your dress/sweater/etc)

If you know me well, you know mine aren't fake.

edit: I'm very shy, so anybody that I don't know well making personal comments about me in public feels very unnerving to me. That's why I don't enjoy it.

26. no i hear it a lot and life is too short
at my advanced age it should probably be pretty clear that i'm from before the era of cheap, widely available fake boobs, but if someone thinks mine are fake, it's probably more of a compliment at this point than anything -- at least it means they aren't pointing toward my ankles

It's not likely to happen to me, though, so it's difficult to honestly judge how I'd feel.

31. Depends on the context I guess
I tend to have a pretty good sense of humor about my breasts. Depending on your point of view mine could be considered fake as I had breast reduction so these are not 100% the way nature intended. So I don't even know if I could be offended if someone said mine were fake.

32. The first time someone told me this I was 15.
I said, "Yeah, like my cheap-ass parents would pay for that, you fucking moron." Then, they called me a rude bitch. Nice. Yes I was offended. My breasts are the business of myself, intimate partners I've had, and in the past, my children during lactation. If someone wants to say I have a nice figure or something along those lines, fine, but graphic, detailed comments are rude, piggish, classless, impolite and not called for.

39. depends (as always) on the context
just walking up to me, a stranger on the street - I would be offended by the familiarity as a whole

If I was showing them off, I would wonder if they meant it in a complementary way (perfection) or in a negative way (disbelief or they don't look right) so I would maybe ask a neutral question to get more info like "what do you mean by that?"

I took it as a bumbling compliment but saw conflict coming. Train wreck sort of moment.
