What a great name for a cat!!

I was trying to come up with a name that started with a hard "c" because because his less than dignified name started with a hard "c". Whenever I would come home from work, I would discover his face stained with lily pollen from my bouquets. I realized that I had a kitty apothecary on my hands. :rofl: That and his fur color was the same color as Derek Jacobi's. :rofl:

during a LOR kick. Frodo was first, and named so because of his hairy feet. Samwise and Gandalf followed. here's the 3 little pigs

The chubby one was Sam and the slightly smaller one was Frodo. I named them after I'd just seen LOTR, of course, and because Gollum kept calling Sam 'fat hobbit', the names made sense.

I thought about maybe getting a grey tree frog and calling it Gandalf. :)

Coincidentally, one of my co-workers named Sam was the one who startled them and made them run into my place of business. There had been a leak in the ceiling, and he went up to the roof to try and find the source of it... startling three tree frogs in the process. Two of whom, in their panicked attempts to get away from the scary human, hopped right in through the back door.

It's odd, three out of my four pets so far have all been animals that I found living in a situation where I wouldn't expect them to survive long, so I decided to take them home. The frogs were in the middle of a shopping center that was surrounded by feral hungry cats, and the only edible insects nearby were big fat disgusting trash can flies. And most recently, I encountered a crawfish crawling in the middle of another parking lot, barely alive and nowhere near a water source. (I named her Roadkill.)

It would be giving away the answer to the secret question to ALL of my passwords.

It took me forever, but we finally settled on Kyra. ;)

They're doing REALLY well. The first few days were a little rough, but the hissing has stopped and they're actually willing to play together. The older ones are still a bit leery, but I figure in a week or so, they'll be buddies.

Her name is "Grace". And the image is a stripper.

I won't be posting it.

My late pet who I inherited from my father, "Prince A. Rabbit." She was a greyish dwarf rabbit would looked a little like a guinea pig at first glance. My father had a petting zoo at his Christmas tree farm that included a number of mostly adopted rabbits. We did not know the genger of "Miss Prince" at first and my Dad already had the sign from a previous rabbit.

Anyway, the first photo that came up is of our other rabbit, the late "Jasper T. Rabbit." It is from some website in TX for deceased pets.
