Rapture Index is on the rise

Usually it's been around 150 but this week it's up to 161. Could the rapture be just right around the corner

1. My mom was just telling me

That she went to a bible study class recently not knowing the subject. It was about the rapture (these are Methodists). She said she likes these people, but were surprised they believed in that stuff. She didn't go back for the second night.

I was raised methodists. In fact Methodist leaders tried to meet with Bush right before the start of the war in hopes of convincing him to not go (Bush is Methodist). He refused to meet with them

5. I think this was a small group

A couple of born-agains that led the bible study. It's not the church as a whole though.

7. They seem to have missed the recent floods and Hurrican Dean

as they haven't adjusted their index for floods nor for weather.

Or, maybe...just maybe, they're completely batshit crazy.
