How many library cards do you have?
I have four active cards - one for the local library, one for the San Jose system, which includes about a dozen branches, one for Santa Clara County which includes about 8 branches and one for my college library.

I also have 7 or 8 from other places I've lived - Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Alabama - that are probably expired.

I love libraries. :bounce:

4. One Glendale card
which might be expired and I think I owe them money. I have Los Angeles one too which I love but I owe them money so they've kinda suspended my priviledges until I pay up. It's only six bucks but money's a little tight so I'll pay them as soon as I can.

5. My ex used to joke that my mug shot hung in every library
I singlehandedly pay the expenses of about every library I patronise in late fees. I don't know why it's so hard for me to return books on time - or renew them online which takes five minutes from the comfort of my own home - but I like to think of it as giving back. :patriot:

6. I have this bad habit of renewing until I can't anymore
even after I've finished a book. Then I forget the renewal date and the fees add up. the LA library doesn't mess around. I'm pretty sure I owed far more than six bucks to Glendale and my priviledges were never suspended.

Its cracked and the scanner can barely read it but my mom issued it to me when she worked for the library system and I don't want to replace it.

15. Same here
I hold a card from the Manchester City Library which gives me privileges at all of the GMILCS libraries, which includes eight public libraries and the academic library at new England College.

I also get a fair amount of use out of the New Hampshire State Law Library, located at the Supreme Court building in Concord.
