I made tacos!

First time I've ever done that.

It's kinda like makin' burgers, only looser, and you fold 'em.

I've et homemade tacos, and of course I've comida-ed at Taco Bell. But this is the first time I ever made 'em my own self.

Or at least, what passes for tacos in SoMe. :D

Conjugating Arkansas Verbs: To Eat

• I'm fixin' to eat.

Well, I didn't make the tortillas or anything. :P

real simple i don't know just how he does it cause he never measures anything, but they taste the same every time :9 i get to cut up the veggies :)

But my faves are:

Ground beef (none of this lean shit, its gotta have fat)
Pico Pica hot sauce
white corn tortillas
In a large frying pan, enough shortening to cover about 1/2 inch deep. Put on high.

mix the ground beef with about 1/6 bottle of pica pica.
make patties 1/2 inch thick out of mixture.

cover about 1/3 of tortilla about 1/2 inch thick (very iimportant so the tort will fold)

place the whole deal in the frying pan open. After a few seconds, fold the uncovered half over the meat, making a taco.

flip once

About five minutes per side.

remove and drain well.

When you take the taco out of the pan, immediatly sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Fill with lettuce, green onions, tomatoes and SHARP cheddar cheese. Some salsa and more parmesan.

I tell ya, people come from all over to eat these puppies.
