1. Poor dear.
One of my "friends" "seranades" me with songs from that every time we "talk" on AIM. This is a 16-y-o girl spamming my IM dialogue box with YouTube links to a teeny-bopper movie!

:scared:

13. Definitely.
They are into artistic and dramatic expression (my daughter is not called DQ for Drama Queen for nothin') and, hey, it could be glue sniffing or Jesus Camp or something else ... :scared:

12. Congratulations!
I must confess that I don't really know enough about this particular phenomenon to judge just what level of cheesiness the movie manages to attain, but I can begin to imagine! I like to think I have a certain tolerance for pre-teen/early teen flicks as I once (when I worked at a movie theater and had nothing better to do... at least that's my excuse) sat through The Lizzie McGuire Movie and found it kind of enjoyable. :hide:

On a related note, I do think Vanessa Anne Hudgens is really cute, which makes me feel slightly ashamed and like some sort of dirty old man, even though I'm only twenty-four!

20. My friends and I watched the first one for the hell of it one night
And kept pointing out everything that they stole from Grease. Also, it's kinda funny that Sharpe's brother is kinda flamboyant but that kids watching it aren't old enough to get the stereotype about how most men in musical theater are gay.

21. Hugs headed your way Shine.
Little MB has it on both DVRs so that if she gets sick again she can watch it up in bed in MY room - yippee:sarcasm:

She has, however, been with her dad since Friday and won't be able to watch it before we head to the DR this coming Saturday, I haven't had to watch it yet...I am preparing for the Labor Day marathon.
