Day 3 of college
I have been so tired the past 2 nights that I just came home, did my homework/reading assignments, and crashed out cold by 9:00 pm.

My typical day on campus is an endless series of steep hills and hundreds of stairs. Hills and stairs. Stairs and hills. I don't have to make time for exercise anymore. Just attending my classes gives me more of a workout than I've had in years! However, I *am* going to start going to the student gym and pool next week, to supplement the exercise I'm getting on campus. I'm just waiting for the soreness to fade in my legs.

I absolutely LOVE my Philosophy and Poli-Sci professors. The Sociology professor seems good too, but today is the first "real" Sociology class I'll have, so we shall see how it goes. My Communications class is a bit disappointing. It's taught by an inexperienced TA with a ridiculously high-pitched little-girl voice, and I seem to spend most of the class feeling sympathetic embarrassment for her bumbling. Here's hoping she finds her stride before too long.

I've been eating a lot better, too. Before now, getting ONE vegetable serving a day was a miracle. But the salad bar is so cheap at school, and I'm so hungry by the time I get time for lunch, that I've been eating a lot of veggies and fruit that I usually wouldn't touch. Yay me!

Okay, gotta shower and start getting ready. :hi:

1. Have fun!
I think that's one piece of advice I would've appreciated while going to school, to have fun with learning. And I'm talking just about the classes, not any extra-curricular stuff.

2. That's great!
The only class I got a D in during my first attempt at college was Mass Communications. It was a nightmare for someone with social anxiety. I hope your class gets better. You are getting me excited about next week!

Have fun!
