What words of advice resonate with you the most?
They could be from family, friends, teachers, co-workers, or anyone really. I seem to draw a blank on words of wisdom coming my way; positive ones anyway. Beyond the usual "stop eating" and "lose weight," I can't really remember any words of guidance along the way. I know it's much easier to focus on the negative. My mindset is probably such that I've blocked out those instances where a nugget of truth and guidance was forthcoming from others.

No one ever told me to have fun; at least that I remember anyway.

12. Never loan anything to someone that you want or need back.
If you loan it, whether it be money, books, DVDs, clothes etc, loan it under the assumption that you'll never see it again. That way, you won't resent the borrower when you never see it again. If it is your favorite book, don't loan it or have additional copies of your book that you donate to the global library. I use to resent the people that didn't return my things to me, but after I changed my perspective, I don't harbor those feelings anymore.
