my wife told me she no longer loved me.

She came to that decision, she told me, months before, and there was I still feeling I loved her and working hard on the issues in our marriage, making changes in myself I thought would make her happy.

It's sort of like having the other person decide for me that I'm no longer in love - I had what I guess would be the typical number of girlfriends and breakups growing up but this is completely different in terms of how it feels.

So it's pretty foolish of me to read, watch or listen to stories, songs or whatever about love right at the moment.
