1. I think it's the one where they learn a valuable lesson about family.
You know! The one where Mrs. Brady says, "Oh, Alice...."

2. Funny you should mention the Brady Bunch
I recently rewatched a few shows with Tavernertoddler. We both loved them and I noticed something:

- The philosophy of the show is definitely humanist, despite the sugar coating
- The parents value critical thinking in their kids: in fact the kids weren't supposed to merely obey, but to think about why something is wrong
- The show displayed absolutely NO religious leanings, one way or the other. They never had a guest Priest, Rabbi, Reverend, etc. They never even mentioned church or synagogue
- Challenging a parent with logical cause was an asset, not a liability

So Taverner gives this show a thumbs up!

10. Slow Down Tough Guy!
Episode 12: Season 1: The Voice of Christmas

Carol (that's Mrs. Brady to you) gets sick and may not be able to sing in the Christmas choir. The family almost cancels their Xmas, but she pulls through and performs.

Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!

11. Ahhh but what kind of Christmas Choir was it?
Was it at a church? I seem to remember it being a local yokel kind of deal - not a church function.

And you don't have to be a Christian to celebrate Christmas!

15. ...
Just in time for the holidays, Carol develops laryngitis and may not be able to sing at Christmas services, prompting Cindy to ask a department store Santa for a miracle. Meanwhile, the older siblings decide that, given Carol's illness, Christmas should be postponed until she gets well, leading Alice to teach them the true meaning of Christmas.

21. 'The Undergraduate'
Greg's math grades begin to suffer, at the same time he develops a huge crush on someone named "Linda" ... who turns out to be his math teacher.

But the crush magically disappears when Greg meets her boyfriend, a Los Angeles Dodger who won six Gold Gloves in his nine seasons and led the National League in doubles in 1970.

Can you name him? :D

24. That was 'Leave It to Beaver'
Whitey and the Beav' somehow got the number to the Dodgers clubhouse and called Drysdale. Whitey asked him if he spit in his glove. :D

Sandy Koufax was on a kidcom back then, too.

28. My mistake
He made an appearance in "The Dropout." 1970, Episode 2, Season 2.

A compliment from Los Angeles Dodgers' baseball star Don Drysdale goes to Pony League pitcher Greg's head. Greg becomes convinced he's the next big Major League Baseball superstar and becomes obsessed with the sport, driving his family and teachers crazy. Drysdale returns later and - knowing that Greg is listening in - has a conversation with Mike talk about the realities of life on the road, but it takes a major shelling for Greg to get knocked into reality.

31. I didn't remember that one
Drysdale made a few teevee appearances because he was a handsome devil. Seems like he even had a clubhouse nickname that went with it.

I just remembered one with Deacon Jones of the Rams' "Fearsome Foursome" defensive line. He came out to talk to Peter's pee-wee football team.

"What position you play?"

"End. Offensive end."

"Wow, that's bad news for guys like me."

29. Don Drysdale was also on an episode of the Brady Bunch.
He gives Greg tips on pitching and Greg decides that he is going to become a major league pitcher. Greg thinks he's hot shit until he gets shelled one afternoon in a Little League game.

27. I liked the episodes where Greg and Marcia were in high school.
Marcia had some hot friends and Greg always had a foxy babe hanging around. I love the episode where Greg gets hurt playing football and becomes the team photographer.

So one couldn't possibly have turned up in their hotel room. Must have been a cane spider, which is somewhat similar in appearance.

38. "GLASSES!?" "Oh no, Mom, not glasses!"
Wasn't that also one of the shows where the kids sang on a talent show to raise money so they could replace the picture frame Jan broke when she ran into it on her bike because she wasn't wearing her glasses?

I always liked the episode where Peter played Benedict Arnold in the school play.
