Makes it hard to see the screen. And to type. :eyes:

1. Usually I have a Dachshund draped across my chest...
Asleep. Not only does it make it hard to type, but it's also hard not to fall asleep right along with her. Duckie

2. One of my cats hates it when I read or type
If I'm reading a newspaper, she'll jump up and bat at it. If I'm typing, she'll jump up and lie on the keyboard. I think it's a cry for help.

3. Update: she's been replaced by the kitten, who likes to look at the screen while I type
...which means instead of the screen I get a scenic view of a kitty-butt. :eyes:

5. Is this a cry for help?
Or are you just bragging? Personally, I congratulate you, if the dog is facing you.

6. I'm pretty sure it's her way of saying "Pay more attention to me!"
...and yes, she is polite enough to face me.

23. She shook her stuffed mallard to death this afternoon
We have to take away her stuffed animals or she WILL eviscerate them. Very methodically.

25. You weren't kidding about the mug shot.
Did you instruct her to look to her right? She sure is a cutie. I used to babysit a JRT, and they sure can keep you on your toes.

12. Be grateful it's not a Great Dane
That would really mess with your typing! I don't mind it when the cat or dog flop down on my feet, but my cat's discovered a new way to get attention. When she feels neglected, she pushes the "off" button on my power strip!

14. My dad called the other night, asking for one of my mom's recipes
(I have her recipe box) for my aunt. I had to tell him I was in no condition to go to the kitchen at that moment. "I'm covered in critter" I explained. So, I know how you feel. Critters currently critter-free, but wait until I lie down on the sofa later...

15. aw! My dog and I just took a nap, then had a walk and dinner. Now
he's off attacking a toy. Soon he will get his kong with a milkbone stuffed in it because it will keep him busy for an hour or so. I will use that time to sew up some of his other toys that he's destroyed. Then he'll probably make sweet love to his dog bed for a while and then go to sleep. Good times!

17. With a JRT, you don't need to see the screen and type . . .
Your JRT can see and type on your behalf. Mine are convinced they can do this, and they are further certain that they can do it better than I can.
