Wow. A whole day off tomorrow.

I've been busy lately, and it's been hard to squeeze a bit of personal time in. So tomorrow's the day.

Carpe diem.

Any good flicks starting up this weekend? I have no idea what's on the way.

Normally I would but due to a quirk of scheduling (or rather, it just being my turn in the rotation) I have to work at a boat ramp talking to (probably) drunken asshole fishermen. Wish me luck.

Actually it shouldn't be that bad (as long there is no tournament going on, which is what I am afraid of); it's supposed to rain, so it will at least be relatively cool. It's only supposed to be 83 tomorrow.

Owie owie owie. I've had a broken hand, a broken foot, a broken nose, a broken arm, and two total knee replacements, and I'd rather go through ALL of them again rather than have a broken elbow.

Still, it opens up the path to so MANY new jokes.... Naaah, I wouldn't do that to her. You DO believe me, don't ya???? :evilgrin:

I've stopped going to see movies in the theaters...

So I have no idea what's out there either!

I get to buy a new tire for my car tomorrow...ran over something sharp on the freeway yesterday...*sigh*

Driving on the compact spare is soooooooo much fun!

Especially on the freeway and the tire can't be driven faster than 50mph!

or I won't pass inspection. I've been running on twenty dollar used tires for several months- time to pay the piper now. :shrug:

Those half-assed "spares" should be banned. I think they are so incredibly dangerous- I see people all the time who obviously have no clue that they are TEMPORARY tires. I still remember the day when REAL spare tires were included.

Dayum. Did I just sound old and crotchety or what!!!
