It's late and there's nobody around. This is a perfect time to say, quietly
I am in love with a man called David. I'm so freaking happy and there's nobody I can tell so I'm posting it here. Now I'm going to disappear - let it be as though I said nothing. Sigh. Lucky, lucky me.

14. I appreciate it.
I can't tell my kids or family, not at this point. His kids do know and have made comments about my being part of the family. It's too fast and I will be careful but god it's wonderful. Well, you know. You have a man who I believe is very much like my D, seriously, although D is twice his age!

20. Okay, let's see.
I am having a little birthday dinner over here but everybody will be gone by nine o'clock my time. So, anytime after six your time. I will be finished my exam and be done with the obligatory party so chances are I'll be staying up until at least 2:00 a.m. Eleven your time.

I'll be around and looking forward to it! And now, to bed. Wish me luck on the Final. I was supposed to study today but instead spent hours with David, talking about life. :eyes: Yeah, I'm an idiot.

It's taken very little effort on my part, which is the most astonishing thing. And he's not married! And his teenage children love me and make jokes about our being "in love." And he is funny, and well-spoken, and insightful, and he sings me love songs. Well, you get the idea. Give me an inch and I'll take a mile, if I get the chance to wax poetic.

No, I know that it isn't the worst possible thing

and you are right that there are many opportunities to be closer...

I don't believe it is either crimmie, it has just been a shock to the system to not see his little dancing butt run around when he gets out of the bathtub or hear him singing, or talking and think he's talking to me and say "what M?" and have him say "I'm not talking to you" just the little things...

but he will spend time with me, quite a bit even this week!
