I have the worst weakness in the known world for my local grocer's macaroni salad--christ, I go through the whole thing in like 3 days :(

Love baked beans too--and I pay for that in spades later :scared:

What about you?

59. Mmmmmmmm, sounds delicious! But there's a thing about shepherd's pie...
Edited on Thu Sep-06-07 12:35 AM by IntravenousDemilo
A lot of restaurant menus feature "shepherd's pie" made with ground beef and it makes me crazy.

BZZZT! Wrong! Shepherd's pie can only be made with sheep flesh. I mean, duh, what kind of meat are shepherds most likely to have on hand?

If it comes from a cow, it's called "cottage pie". I don't know what it should be called if it's made from seitan, but I'll bet it's damn tasty, even if it's not really shepherd's pie. I need your recipe, as I have a couple of vegan friends who'd probably love it. It is completely vegan, right?

34. Pistachios here, too
And that's the only semi-healthy thing on my addicted-to list. I shouldn't have carbs, but get me near popcorn, fries, brownies, or frosted molasses cookies, and look out. I'm a hazard.

Yeah, just the standard bagged kind you can buy at the grocery store. I've never been sure what my deal is with that stuff, but I've been that way with it since I was in junior high. I don't even buy it because if I do it rarely lasts for more than a couple of days!

Edited on Tue Sep-04-07 06:59 AM by philosophie_en_rose
My mom makes panko fried steak that is sooooooo good. I can't stop eating it, so I try not to ever be around it. It's just that good.

She marinates very, very thin steaks in ponzu sauce and soy sauce. Then breads in panko. It's tangy and crispy and good.
