1. I just bought one
a week ago. I LOVE it.

But unrolling it and putting it on your bed for the first time is a serious pain in the ass.

Actually, I think it was a thinner one than the 4 inch.
I liked it, my wife didnt. we ended up getting the sleep number bed instead. Im a 40.

3. I have the 2" version....
I bought it mostly to put off buying a new mattress since ours was starting to show some wear.

I was initially concerned that it would be unbearably hot but it doesn't seem to trap heat. In all honesty, I prefer a firm mattress, but I've been sleeping perfectly fine since we got the memory foam. If you like a pillow top mattress, you'll probably like it.

4. I'm debating getting one of those.
Having priced both mattress toppers and actual mattresses, I suspect my budget is better suited to the former.

But any product reviews are welcome before I shell out the money.

6. we have the full mattress
It was great at first, but it's not as noticeable now, 4 years or so later.

I think it's great if you tend to sleep in one position most of the time.

But I also spent the past year on a busted-ass air mattress, so my opinion is possibly biased, haha.

8. Don't leave pets alone on it when it's stripped for washing sheets.

The culprit shown below dug a hole in it when it was brand new. Mine was 2" but ever since, I've folded it in half to cover the hole so it's 4". It has worked out, since the cushioning is basically needed from the hips to the shoulders anyway. He doesn't "dig" when the sheets are on.

13. Got a 2 inch queen and folded it over for a junior...
It turned a creaky antique sleeper sofa into the most comfortable thing I had ever slept on. Then, I got the full mattress when I got a real bed. Oh man. I will never go back. It's like that feeling of sleeping with your head on a cuddly tummy or a soft pair of boobs, but all over.
