R.I.P Caesar, 1991-2007

:cry: I'm about to go say goodbye to Caesar, who just had his 16th birthday this weekend and suffered a stroke last night that left him partially paralyzed. It's time for him to go over the bridge. Please send your thoughts.

I've had to make that decision before, and it's not an easy one. Just know that you're doing the right thing, and that Caesar loves you.

I have done this too and simply know that it is for the best, to end the suffering. Travel peacefully Cesar. :hug:

I was just a kid when Caesar died. He was over 20 years old. He hadn't been up the stairs in years because he was so creaky. But the day he died, (he was put down at the vet) he went up the stairs and hopped into bed with my dad. It was the first time any of us had seen our father cry.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

The s.o. and I are wrecked, but Caesar had a great life, and at least he didn't linger. The other kitties will miss him as much as we will.
