OK, I admit it. I like fantasy movies
even juvenile, formulaic, predictable ones like Eragon. There's something about dragon movies that just gets to me.

1. Are you excited about the new Dragon movie coming out?
I just saw an ad yesterday for it - looks pretty cool!

But it's hard to tell from a TV ad whether it only looks cool, or will actually be cool.

Bummer.

6. maybe it's on dvd?
it was a great show. They will probably show it again because I saw it about 6 months ago on AP.

10. Unfortunately
when I see a trailer for any sort of dragon movie, I'm skeptical of its quality by default almost. I'll still watch it, but how many fantasy movies actually get good reviews other than the 3 Lord of the Rings movies and the Harry Potter movies?

3. Found a link to a whole preview - it's "Dragon Wars"
http://www.vidly.net/dragon-wars-movie-trailer.html

Comes out Sept. 14.

I have a feeling this might be a stinker, since it's coming out next week but I've seen no advertising, never seen a trailer in the theater, and have heard nothing about it.

7. looks like it has potential - is this coming to theaters?
or is it straight to DVD or the sci-fi channel?

8. It comes out Sept. 14, and as far as I know, to theaters.
But I just saw it the first time yesterday.

Which is why I think it might be a stinker, if they've done no real advance push for it. I've seen no posters, no trailers, nothing.

9. The first thing I thought of when I saw the trailer
was that dragon movie with Christian Bale & Matthew McConaghy (I know I spelled it wrong) a few years back - only this movie would be the "before" - where the Bale movie was the after.

12. So did you like "Stardust"? We loved it!!!!!
a really neat flick. Funny, pretty, romantic, and a couple of guest star turns that will rock your boat.

13. Have you read the book?
Unfortunately the film pales in comparison, but I did like what Michele Phifer did with her character.
