Champagne Grape Jelly!

What do you do with 8 - 10 lbs of grapes off the one and only grapevine in your backyard?

Clean 'em up, stem them, pulp, de-seed and juice them, and make Jelly for holiday baskets.

Remember, within 20 minutes of taking them out of the cooker, the lids should make a sucking "pop" as the vacuum seal takes effect. Later on tonight, I can put them up in the pantry.

With three vines, we might have encouraged to get a wine-making kit.
MMMM, mmmm. Not too sweet, not too tart, slightly woody and very red grape.

Our grapevine did not come back this year. :(

I would love the recipe in case we get another grapevine when we get a house.

Or a jar in the mailbox would be good, too! ;):P
