1. My dear billy!
Yes, s/he sure is!

I'll bet that got your adrenaline pumping, huh?

I hate it when a small wild creature shows up in the roadway...

Or in town, if someone's dog or cat does...

Nice to see you today, sweetie...

2. It was a quiet, dark country road
I was doing 60mph (the legal limit) and the furry little thing hopped into the road just at the limit of my headlights' reach. I hit the brakes harder than I have ever done in this car yet; it still would not have been enough but the little guy hopped back out of the way at the very last second.

My nerves were a wreck after that!

3. Hi Billy!
I'm soo glad little bunny guy ( girl?)
made it OK.Hopefully he learned something.

I hope you're OK, too!

it sounds like you have very good brakes
and reflexes.

Hey- I chased a cat away from a squirrel this morning.
The cat was in hot pursuit- he was closing in on the squirrel.
Later, I told Mr. Squirrel to get the hell out of this area.
He listened to me- he's gone! LOL.
There are about 12-14 cats who live around here.

It must be the day for animal rescues.
;-)

:hi: :pals:

6. Hi Kagehime!

Yes, he was one lucky squirrel.
;-)

I'm having a nice day relaxing.
Our heatwave from last week is over.
Now we have sun and fall like weather starting.
It's very clear and breezy outside.

How are you doing, dear lady?

:hi: :pals:

8. I think he or she probably didn't.
I see so many of them dead on the roads. At least this one didn't join them that time. :hi:

17. Yeah, it was probably his right of way or something.
Why should I assume they have the same highway code, right?

18. The thing about bunnies is that they play by their own rules
And their significant sense of self importance

19. Ya don't say! I had one of those "screeech!!" moments several years ago, but
It wasn't just a bunny rabbit. It was a red tailed hawk carrying a bunny rabbit in its talons.

It flew out of a bush right in front of my van.

I stood on the breaks and missed the birdie by inches.

It dropped the bunny rabbit who took off back into the bushes.

Poor hawk lost its dinner.

LUCKY LUCKY BUNNY RABBIT didn't become the hawk's dinner and didn't become road kill all in the same instant.
