11. An old DC roomie who was a bicycle courier sharpied "God is Dead" on one side
of her helmet and "FUCK" on the other, and used to get bewildered glances in the federal and office buildings.

Those were the 80s, of course, and we hadn't all been desensitized by Paris Hilton and the poo in the tub yet.
