What do you make of her behavior? It scares me a little bit. Do you think this is an act, or that she is really in trouble? Do you think she should be left alone, and that this is a part of her creativity, or that someone should intervene and try to help her?

I'm just curious. I've known plenty of creative people who lived dangerous lives, and I don't really have a judgment either way, but it's natural to care about an artist you like who seems to be spiraling out of control.

2. I think her husband is a druggy and has dragged her way down.

Before she married him and got involved in all the drugs, she was very pretty. Now she just looks haggish. She's a pretty girl. But man, she's wasting away.

6. I have read that it is in the manager's best interest

to keep her miserable. That the husky smoker's voice and blues musician lifestyle keep her crankin' out the great music. I hope that isn't true, but..... I don't think it's an act. She is crashing and burning and no one seems to want to or be able to help her. The creepy husband is a big part of the problem. I really hate to see it. She has real talent.
