28. Me, too. My heart is just breaking for him
and for those precious little boys who so need their mommy and who may never see her again. I wish I lived near him so I could help out in practical ways, babysitting, bringing meals, etc., etc.

I've also been thinking of Stacy and OMC while reading Funky Winkerbean the past several days, with the storyline of Lisa's dying from breast cancer.

I was getting annoyed at the boys for being - BOYS! (very loud boys) and then I just shut up. Thank god for my loud boys.

I've been making a point of telling them I love them more often this past week. Funny thing, they've started being more affectionate, too.

31. Keep doing that, never stop doing that.
You never, ever really know when it will be the last time you'll see someone. My fiance and I try to say it as much as we can, and not just to be sappy, either. We're in our forties and fifties, and more aware of how quickly things can change. He always ends each phone call saying it, too. All of us should tell our spouses/SO's we love them as much as we can, whenever we can, instead of just thinking that we can do it later, that there will always be a next time.

51. Yes, I've been looking for news all day.
I'm like a lot of other people on here, I guess. I'm hoping for something akin to a miracle for them, at least on the conscious level, anyway, but I also am pragmatic enough to realize that she is so very ill that her chances of recovery are fading daily.

My heart goes out to them all. May they have the courage, strength, and wisdom to see this through.

(I've been checking in lately just for the same reason, too. I want, I REALLY want that son of a bitch with whom I've had so many arguments to be happy, to have a healthy wife and a happy life, so we can get back to calling each other names.)

we'll never know such agony, if we're lucky. My heart breaks for him (not to mention her), but most of all for their kids, of which I understand they have two.

Don't forget to remind yourself tomorrow morning what a fortunate son of a bitch you are. I certainly won't forget to do so on my part; it's my 7 AM ritual when I first open my eyes.

I've been compulsively checking in all day yesterday and today.

I do hope that he will attend to his big priorities, and not worry about keeping DU updated when there are surely much more important things going on. I think we all can respect that, though it is hard not knowing what's happening. I'm really grateful for all the effort he's put forth in keeping us abreast of the situation, and appreciate the trust in opening up to us in that way.

I wish peace for him and Stacey and the family.

80. WAY over 5
I've been checking constantly since his last post Sunday night. I'm hoping that no news is good news but have a really bad feeling his lack of any more recent communication means the worst has happened.
I'm so worried. And dammit I feel so helpless.

82. I can think about little else.
His post about his wife moved me so much and then watching the video my heart broke. My thoughts and prayers are with them.I want to see good news so bad.

85. Yeah. Regardless of the outcome, praying for compassionate peace for all of them seems appropriate.
I hope OMC and the kids have a lot of family supporting them through all this.
