Some thanks for my Lounge Lizards
Over the past year I've come on here a number of times expressing my frustration about various things, and the loyal Lounge folks have always been supportive. Well, here's the result:

I left my husband, I packed up my car last week with everything in our apartment I felt was "mine", and drove 3000 miles all the way back to the mountains of North Carolina from Los Angeles. It's still kind of a blur, but I'm so glad I did it, and I'm excited about getting on with my life. Sure, I just turned 28 and am getting divorced, but that means I have lots of life left, right?

Anyways, thank you to those people who were so awesome to me when I was totally miserable.

3. Almost.
Instead of going to Wilmington, I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to meet my sister and her family who were already on vacation. I did manage to stop for the BEST BBQ Ive ever had in Memphis, TN (at The Bar-B-Que Shop). I wish I had taken the time to stop at some of the cheesy tourist stops (especially the Meteor Crater in Arizona), but I think Ill get by. That makes the third time I've driven cross-country, and I think I may just be an East Coast kind of girl.
